petroleum commodities were exported included the United Arab Emirates (UAE), China, Kuwait, and Singapore. The US topped the list of the countries from where the Kingdom imported non-petroleum commodities. It was followed by China, Germany and Japan respectively. As regards trade exchange with the GCC member states, the Kingdom's non-petroleum exports increased in the second quarter of 2007 by 19 percent to SR 6.92 billion from SR 5.129 billion in the same period last year. The Kingdom's non-petroleum imports from the GCC member states in the second quarter of this year increased by 13 percent to SR 3.627 billion from SR 3.202 billion in the same period last year.
