In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to provide foodstuffs and relief assistance to Sri Lankan government to deal with the humanitarian situation that resulted from the displacement of thousands of people from their areas of residence, the 1st Saudi relief plane left King Khalid International Airport for Colombo last night. The plane was loaded with 100,653 tons of foodstuffs, medicines, rugs, blankets and tents.
