Presided over by its vice-Chairman Dr. Bandar Hajjar, the Shoura Council held today its 38th ordinary session. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Council's Secretary General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ghamdi said that the Council approved by majority vote the annual report of the General Presidency of Youth Welfare for the fiscal year 1427/1428H proposed by the Committee for Social Affairs, Family and Youth. Dr. Al Ghamdi added that the Council also approved by majority vote the report proposed by the Committee for Transport and Communication and Technology Information regarding the annual report of the Saudi Arabian Airlines for the fiscal year 1427/1428H. Also, presided over by its assistant chairman Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Barak, the council discussed the report proposed by the Committee for Security Affairs regarding the National Plan aimed at decreasing the high rate of car accidents in the Kingdom. The council recommended that it be held for further discussions during its next session. He added the council also approved by majority vote the report by the Committee for Management, Human Resources and Petitions on domestic service workers. The council also reviewed the UN anti-corruption agreement recommending that it be held for further discussions.
