Shoura Council holds Session

Presided over by its Chairman Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Asheikh, the Shoura Council held today its 20th session.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Council's Secretary General Dr. Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ghamdi said that the Council completed discussions of a report on the amendment of the Capital Market Authority System regarding the addition of extra articles. The Council agreed that it be held for further discussions during its next session.
He added that the Council approved by majority vote a number of recommendations concerning the two annual reports of the Commission of Irrigation and Drainage in Alahsa for the fiscal years 1426/1427H and 1427/1428H.
Dr. Al Ghamdi said that the Council also approved by majority vote recommendations regarding the annual report of the General Corporation for Railways for the fiscal year 1427/1428H.
He added that the Council discussed the annual report of the General Presidency for Youth Welfare for the fiscal year 1427/1428H proposed by the Committee of Social Affairs and Family and Youth. The Council agreed that it be held for further discussions during its next session.
