The Ministry of Health assured the citizens and residents that all cases of swine flu virus H1N1 type-A are in good health, and that most of the cases completed the treatment. "As many as 77 cases have been fully cured and returned back to their normal lives, while the rest of the new cases are still subject to the isolation and medical procedures until the completion of their stable condition," said the Ministry announcement. However, the Ministry announced today the detection of 8 new cases, comprising a 24-year-old young man, a 2 and half years old toddler, a 2-year old Nigerian girl, an Eight months infant, a 30- year-old Nigerian woman, a 23-year-old Saudi woman, a 49-year-old Saudi citizen and a Saudi girl of 4 years-old. With the addition of the news cases, the number of swine flu infected cases totaled 89 as confirmed by MOH laboratories. All the new 8 cases have been detected in Riyadh Region. These were the results of their contact s with the already infected cases of the swine flu. The isolation process is applied according to the national action plan for the prevention of swine flu and as recommended by the World Health Organization.
