Malaysia says an American student and a New Zealand tourist have been hospitalized with swine flu, bringing the country's total to nine cases. The Health Ministry says the 17-year-old American girl was detected with fever after arriving in Kuala Lumpur from Newark on Monday, while the New Zealand woman developed symptoms while touring the northern state of Penang. It said Wednesday the situation was under control, with no local transmission detected so far in the country as all nine patients were «imported cases.» The World Health Organization says the virus has infected more than 26,500 people in 73 countries and caused 140 deaths.
