The Saudi flag has been hoisted at Universiade village also known as Belville, as part of festivities of the 25th summer Universiade, scheduled to start tomorrow. The celebration ceremony was attended by head of Saudi delegation Dr. Walid Al Dali who is the General Supervisor of the Private higher education at the ministry of Higher Education. The Saudi universities' teams participation will be confined to men's singles in Swimming, Table Tennis, Tennis, Taek-wondo, Judo, and weight-lifting. The Saudi delegation to the Universiade-2009 is comprised of 38 students from a number of Saudi universities including Umm Al Qura, Al Imam Mohammed bin Saud Islamic University, King Saud University, King Abdulaziz University, King Faisal University, King Khalid University and Al Qassim University.
