Egyptian relations, the Dammam-based Al-Yaum said these relations will remain a good model for fraternal relations. The leaderships of the two countries, with their wisdom and farsightedness, were capable of overcoming several difficulties, said the daily while quoting the late King Abdulaziz, the Kingdom'S Founder, who said 'without the Kingdom and Egypt, the Arab nation will remain disabled and without a worthy influence'. The Kingdom's rulers and leaders do believe in this important fact and work for realizing it, it said. At the same time the Egyptian leadership is fully aware of this fact and it realizes the Kingdom's important weightage at the Arab, Islamic and international arenas. The hot line between Riyadh and Cairo remained the most important in the last three decades during which the Arab world passed through very critical circumstances, the daily noted. In the light of this fact, we can view the visit of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to the Kingdom which provides a clear evidence for the keenness of the two leaderships on the joint Arab work, said the paper, adding that the Saudi-Egyptian joint efforts are concerned with tackling the complicated issues like the Arab-Israeli dispute, the Palestinian reconciliation, the Iranian nuclear issue, as well as the developments in Iraq, Lebanon and Somalia. "As the Kingdom and Egypt have paid high prices for the service of the Arab causes, it is natural that their views are respected by others".
