The Assistant Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz and Minister of Health Dr Abdullah Al-Rabee'a signed today a contract for implementing the project of Prince Abdul-Majeed bin Abdulaziz Center for Kidneys at the Jeddah-based King Fahd hospital. Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman is also serving as the Supervisor General of Prince Fahd bin Salman charitable society for the care of patients of the Kidney failure. The contract was awarded to Majd-al-ola contracting establishment. Speaking on the occasion, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said the Center due to be implemented within about 18 months will be the biggest kidney-washing (Dialysis) Center at the world level. He noted that the Center, due to be implemented at a cost of SR 60 million, will include 140 devices for kidney-washing. The Center will be capable of extending services to more than 800 patients of the kidney-failure. The project will be implemented by donations from some philanthropists. --MORE
