Prince Abdulaziz bin Majid bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah Region patronized here last night the graduation ceremony of about 1,247 students of The Islamic University in Madinah (IU). In an address at the ceremony, which was attended by the university officials, faculty members and teaching staff including Dr. Mohammed Ali Al Oqla, The Rector of the IU, Prince Abdulaziz bin Majid said "A careful watch and study of living conditions of people show us they are in dire need of education about their religion that Allah has chosen for them. There is also a need to invite non-Muslims towards Islam, introduce its merits and to clarify aspects through a dialogue with them." He urged the graduates of the Islamic University to set up a good model for others, projecting the true spirit of Islam and its teachings away from excessiveness or leniency.
