Prince Abdulaziz bin Majid bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Madinah Region met last night with the Madinah-based Islamic University's teaching staff, students and personnel on occasion of the start of cultural activities in the University. On his arrival at the University campus, the Governor was welcomed by the University's rector Dr.Mohamed bin Ali Al-Oqala and deans of its various faculties. "The University is witnessing substantial progress in its various programs, and it had assigned this year 550 seats each for every faculty in the University. It has also opened free and non-free academic studies classes during evening session, which registered a hike of more than 200% in admissions and also 25% increase in grant of scholarships," DR. Al-Oqla said in his welcoming speech. He highlighted the unlimited support extended by the Government of The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques and his faithful Crown Prince to the University.
