The General President of Meteorology and Environment (PME) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, who is also the President of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for Environment Affairs and the Honorary President of the Arab Network for Environment and Development, has chaired a consultative meeting at the headquarters of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO). Participants in the meeting made a review of the recommendations of the workshop held last May in Rabat on the role of civil society organizations in facing climate changes. The meeting also featured presentation of the regional project on supporting the efforts of civil society organizations in addressing climate changes. The meeting was attended by Amina Benkhadra, the Moroccan Minister of Energy, Mining, Water and the Environment.
