The Jordanian health authorities today discovered four new swine flu cases, dpa cited the Public Health Minister Nayef Fayez as saying. It raised to nine the number of the swine flu cases discovered in Jordan - all Jordanian and Palestinian teenagers who arrived in the country from the United States aboard a Royal Jordanian flight on Friday and a Lufthansa transit journey on Sunday, Fayez said. Health Ministry officials earlier Wednesday expected the number of proven swine flu cases to rise dramatically as those who contracted the disease were among 300 Arab students at a Scout camp in the United States last week.
