The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Professor Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, condemned the criminal and cold-blooded killing of foreigners in northern Saada region of Yemen. Ihsanoglu voiced his deep concern at this tragedy and he called on Yemeni authorities to refer the perpetrators of this heinous crime to justice. He reiterated that such act run totally counter to the teachings and values of Islam which preaches and upholds sanctity of human life. Likewise, Ihsanoglu expressed his shock and dismay at targeting of innocent civilians and extended his deep sympathy and sincere condolences to the bereaved families of the civilians as well as their governments.
