based Al-Nadwa said the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, warning against missing the chance of peace, made it clear at the Arab Economic Summit earlier held in Kuwait that the Arab Peace Initiative will not remain on the table for ever. "The US administration has opened a door of hope and optimism through lauding the initiative at the historical speech delivered by President Barack Obama recently in Cairo," the daily said. But unfortunately the speech delivered by Israeli Premier Netanyahu yesterday was a disappointing one, the daily said, noting that Netanyahu disregarded the American view as regards enabling the Palestinians enjoy an honorable life in their homeland. Netanyahu's speech, which aims at prolonging occupation, reflects the Israeli arrogance, said the paper, noting that Netanyahu believes that the establishment of the Palestinian state should be preceded by recognition of the Palestinians of Israel as a Jewish state. "This development should make it clear for Washington that Israel is the insurmountable obstacle before peace, and the two-state formula approved by the road map plan has been turned down by Netanyahu". Netanyahu who is keen on making Al-Quds the unified capital of Israel will never tolerate the return of the Palestinian refugees, said the daily, adding that if Netanyahu is not capable of paying the price of peace, then it is high time for the international community to force him to go on the path of peace so as to bring about peace to the region which has suffered a lot from the continuation of conflicts and wars.
