The Governor of Eastern Province patronized here last night the honoring ceremony of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Award of Educational Excellence. The ceremony was attended by Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud, the Minister of Education. It was organized at Grand Auditorium Hall -Eastern Province Governorate, Dammam. In an address on the occasion, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saud said that the Award, which was founded almost 24 years ago, constituted a milestone in the history of national contributions in the field of education. "It is also a nucleus of diversified awards for the promotion of education sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." “All evidences and successful experiences indicate that the future social development is knowledge-based which in turn is an inevitable measure nowadays for the most progressive countries in all fields," he said.
