Akhir 23, 1432, March 27, 2011, SPA -- Prince Mohammed Ibn Fahd Ibn Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern Province patronized here on Sunday evening an honoring ceremony for 60 students who have won the1st National Contest of Scientific Creativity organized by the Ministry of Education and King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba". The ceremony was attended by Prince Faisal Ibn Abdullah Ibn Mohammed Al Saud, the Minister of Education and the Foundation's Vice President. Addressing the ceremony, Prince Mohammed Ibn Fahd Ibn Abdulaziz welcomed the Minister of Education and participants in this distinguished scientific meeting which brings them together for a better and brighter future of the homeland under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier, who believe that education is the essential foundation for the development and excellence of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He noted that the recent royal decrees, which have covered all strata of the society, embody the deep cohesion between the Saudi leadership and citizens. In his speech, Prince Faisal Ibn Abdullah Ibn Mohammed Al Saud thanked the Governor of the Eastern Province for patronizing the contest, and said he was looking forward that the Contest will contribute to producing the scientists of the present and the future who impart knowledge and recognize their roles in setting the prospects of the future and contributing to the further progress of the homeland.
