Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Social Affairs, Dr. Yousef bin Ahmed Al-Othaimeen will open here on Sunday the 1st Cooperative Societies Forum entitled "Towards Better Cooperative Action". In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Al-Othaimeen pointed out that the King's patronage of the three-day forum comes within his keenness on promoting cooperative works in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the role of cooperative societies in all areas within the strategy of a sustainable development. The Minister of Social Affairs noted that a number of countries well-known in their successful experiences in cooperative works have been invited to the Forum.
