SPA Acting Director General Holds Meetings with Directors of World News Agencies

The Acting Director General of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and Vice-President of Federation of Arab News Agencies Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein met with a number of directors of world news agencies on the sidelines of the 2nd meeting of International Council of News Agencies concluded in Beirut today.
He met with Lola Alvarez, the General Manager of Spanish News Agency (EFE); Juan Manuel Romero, Director General of Argentine News Agency; and Mikhail Gusman, 1st Deputy Director-General of Russian News Agency Itar-Tass .
During the meetings, they discussed further promotion of relations between Saudi Press Agency and these agencies as well as the development of cooperation in the fields of news exchange and training.
