Chinese President Hu Jintao met with Russia's prime minister Saturday for talks on trade and economic ties, Russian news reports said. Hu and Mikhail Fradkov both described the meeting as a central event for bilateral relations this year, ITAR-Tass and RIA-Novosti reported. Hu also praised Russia's ratification last month of a treaty delineating the two countries' border along the Amur River.
