The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja will open here on Sunday 'the Plastic Art Gallery' themed "For Gazan Children". It will be organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information at Riyadh Literary Club. The gallery includes 32 artistic pieces, drawings, paintings, sculptures and photos. This comes in harmony with humanitarian and artistic facets of the Custodian of the Holy Mosques' Campaign to provide relief to the Palestinian People in Gaza. The gallery falls within the concerns of the Ministry of Culture and Information to support the Palestinian Cause and it is a true reflection of the Saudi plastic artists' stance towards the nation's causes, particularly the Palestinian Cause. It also coincides with the choice of Al Quds (Jerusalem) as the capital of Arab culture-2009, said Dr. Abdulaziz Al Subayel, the Ministry's Undersecretary for Cultural Affairs. The proceeds of the gallery will be reserved for the Gazan children.
