Two German and Canadian world companies have presented tenders to provide advisory services for designing the tasks of Electrical Linkage Grid Project between two electricity networks in Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Energy Dr. Hassan Younis said in a statement today that assessment of the tenders will start with participation of experts and specialists from both countries, expecting the reciprocal capacity of the grid line to be operated in 2012 to reach 500 KV, nearly 3000 MW. The minister commended distinguished relations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
