Danish rescue officials say they are searching for five people after a Polish fishing vessel went missing in the Baltic Sea, off the Danish coast, AP reported. Commander Hans Christian Iversen of the Danish Navy says 13 ships and four helicopters are taking part in the search for the missing crew. The 83-foot (25-meter) -long ship went missing southeast of Nexoe, 133 miles (215 kilometers) west of Copenhagen, on Thursday. Iversen says an empty lifeboat was found Thursday and that rescuers suspect the fishing boat may have sunk after a small oil slick was discovered. Iversen says rescuers will continue the search until at least 1100 GMT Friday, but that the chances of finding survivors «are very, very slim.»
