An earthquake rated at 5.7 strength shook the capital Mexico City and the southern city of Guerrero Monday, sending thousands of people flooding out of office buildings and restaurants, according to dpa. According to a radio report, the epicentre was in Guerrero about 300 kilometres south of Mexico City. Damage reports were not yet available.
