A local government spokesman says two landslides in southwestern China have killed 11 people. Fifteen others are missing, Associated Press reported. A county spokesman said Monday the landslides happened in rural Weixin County in Yunnan province. He said rescue workers were searching for the missing people, who may still be buried, but the situation looks grim. Two people injured in the landslides have been hospitalized and are in stable condition.
