Syrian President Bashar al-Assad appointed today new interior and justice ministers as part of a cabinet reshuffle in the country, according to Reuters. The official news agency said Saad Sammour, was named as interior minister and Ahmad Younis, who headed the government's inspection division, as justice minister. Health and local administration ministers were also changed. The cabinet reshuffle is the first since last year, when the housing and electricity ministers were changed.
