AlQa'dah 20, 1432, Oct 18, 2011, SPA -- Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono reshuffled his cabinet on Tuesday, according to dpa. The shake-up affected 12 of 34 cabinet posts, including trade ministry, state-owned enterprises ministry, energy and mineral resources ministry, justice and human rights ministry, and the National Intelligence Agency. Six new faces were introduced. "The objective of the reshuffle is to improve the performance and effectiveness of the cabinet," Yudhoyono said before announcing the changes. The head of the country's investment board Gita Wirjawan was named trade minister, replacing Mari Pangestu, who was moved to Tourism and Creative Economic Ministry. Dahlan Iskan, the president of the state electricity company PT PLN, was appointed as the minister of state-owned enterprises.
