Three new ministers took their oath of office before King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, during the weekly Cabinet session. They were Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah Bin Muhammad Al-Saud, Minister of Education; Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Mohieddin Khoja, Minister of Information and Culture; and Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Rabeah, Minister of Health. The fourth new minister appointed in Saturday's major government reshuffle decreed by the King is Sheikh Dr. Muhammad Bin Abdulkarim Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Issa, who will head the Ministry of Justice. After the Cabinet session, new Information Minister Khoja issued his first official press statement on the proceedings. Speaking on behalf of the three other new ministers and several officials in different sectors who were appointed in a broad government reshuffle announced on Saturday, Khoja said the King's confidence placed on them “reflects the great responsibility and task they bear before Allah, the government in the service of the country and citizen.” King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, wished the new appointees success. The King also appreciated the efforts of the outgoing ministers, officials and scholars. The citizens expect a redoubling of efforts in public service, the King said. The Council of Ministers welcomed the changes, Khoja said, which included new appointments in the Shoura Council and several government agencies The Cabinet statement said the changes reflect the King's goal of stepping up efforts for more internal reform and achieving the interests of the country and citizens. The ministers pledged that they would measure up to the King's aspirations by “redoubling their efforts to realize his noble intentions,” Khoja said. On other matters, the King spoke about the visit of Chinese President Hu Jintao last week and the friendly relations between the two countries. King Abdullah lauded the role of the Arab League, represented by its secretary-general Amr Moussa, in mending rifts within the Arab fold and achieving solidarity. The King also had praise for the Arab foreign ministers who had turned his recent initiative for Arab solidarity into a reality, so as to help the Arab world counter imminent dangers, Khoja said in comments carried by the Saudi Press Agency. The King briefed the Council on his contacts with Egyptian President Muhammad Hosni Mubarak, Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad and Qatari ruler Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al
