Mi-2 helicopter of the Krasnoyarsk-based Sibaviatrade enterprise with 7 people on board has gone missing in the Tomsk region. Itar-Tass was told on Wednesday at the Siberian regional centre of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry that “at 07:01, Moscow time, the helicopter took off from unit No 040 in the area of Strezhevoi town of the Alexandrovsky district of the region and the last radio contact with it was established at 07:12.” According to the emergencies centre, at 08:17, Moscow time, the helicopter was to arrive at unit No 21 “Kazanskaya” – in the area of Kedrovy town of the Parabelsky district. It specified that out of the 7 people aboard the helicopter 2 are pilots and 5 are passengers. Another helicopter – Mi-8 (of Tomsk Airlines) took off from the Kolpashevo town aerodrome for the search of the missing helicopter along the supposed flight route. There are medics, rescuers and officers of the prosecutor's office and police aboard.
