Over 35,000 people were left without electricity after storm in the Krasnoyarsk territory, the Siberian regional centre of the Emergencies Ministry told Itar-Tass on Tuesday. On Monday evening heavy wind gusts of up to 24 meters per second knock out power in Balakhtinsky and Novoselovsky districts. "Heavy storm left without electricity 35,270 residents of sixty populated settlements, four socially significant facilities, 34 schools, three hospitals with 100 patients and eleven preschool institutions," the source said. Restoration work is underway.
