Al-Quds (Jerusalem) Committee will hold its 20th session under the chairmanship of Morocco's King Mohammed VI on May 1. Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu will head the OIC delegation to the two-day meeting. The Committee aims to examine the current situation in the city of Jerusalem, in the light of the serious developments of the city, and the escalation of Israeli attacks against sanctities and the Arab and Islamic identity, as well as increasing the pace of settlement and the construction of the separation wall. The Committee will also consider the means necessary to counter the Judaization of Al-Quds, to demolish the houses of Jerusalem, and to crush them in order to change the demographic reality in the city. The Al-Quds Committee is one of the Standing Committees of the Organization of Islamic Conference, and chaired by the Moroccan monarch, and has a membership of sixteen member states of the Organization, according to a press release of the OIC.
