Doha has been named as a host-city for the ceremony of establishing the Federation of the GCC Chambers of Commerce (FGCCC) on the occasion of the 30th anniversary for the establishment of the Federation. The meeting of the Federation's Council and the joint annual meeting with the GCC Secretariat General coincides with the Forum due to be held under the title of 'The next thirty years'. The participants of the Forum will review a number of topics including investment opportunities in the member states of the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Abdel-Rahim Naki, the Secretary General of the Federation of the GCC Chambers of Commerce, said the Forum constitutes an important development at this time when various economies are facing great difficulties. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
