The Arab leaders who concluded a summit meeting in Doha tonight have allocated an amount of money to fill the food gap in Sudan, Somalia and Comoro Islands, it was announced here. In press conference following the 21st summit in the Qatari capital of Doha, Qatar's Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem bin Jabr Al Thani said $8million per month was allocated for Sudan for one year, $3million per month for Somalia for six months, provided that national reconciliation be achieved there, and $2 per month for the Comoro Islands for one year. In a joint conference with Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa, Sheikh Al Thani also announced that the Arab League's budget has been increased. -- More
