Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior was sworn-in as the Second Deputy Premier before the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, at the King's palace in Riyadh on Saturday evening. The Oath-taking ceremony was in line with the issuance of a royal decree, appointing Prince Naif as the Second Deputy Premier. Prince Naif said," In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. I swear by Almighty Allah to be faithful to my religion, the King and country; and not to reveal any secret of the state; to maintain its interests and regulations; and to perform my works faithfully, honestly and sincerely." The King congratulated Prince Naif, praying to Almighty Allah to crown him with success for the service of his religion and the homeland. On his part, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King for the royal trust bestowed upon him, praying to Almighty Allah to enable him to come up to the King's confidence in him.
