Chairman of Shoura Council Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh and members of the Council swore the oath of office before Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz at the Royal Court at Al-Yamamah Palace here today. The Chairman and members of the Shoura Council delivered the oath saying "I swear by Allah the Almighty to be faithful to my religion, king and country. I swear to keep the state's secrets and maintain the country's interests and regulations. I swear to be honest and just in performing my tasks". Then, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud delivered the following speech: "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Dear Brothers, This is a great oath. God willing, you will faithfully fulfill the oath to serve your religion and country. I thank you and wish you success in your work. I ask you to advice me. Thank you." The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Adviser to the King; Prince Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Adviser to the King; Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Homaid, Chairman of Supreme Judicial Council; Dr. Saud bin Saeed Al-Mothami, Minister of State and Cabinet's Member for Shoura Council Affairs; Sheikh Nasser Al-Shathri, Adviser at the Royal Court; Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al-Tuwaijri, Adviser to the King; Sheikh Abdulmohsen Al-Obeikan, Adviser at the Royal Court; and a number of officials.
