Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmad attends ophthalmology conference

On behalf of Sheikh Khalifah bin Salman al-Khalifah, the Bahraini Premier, Bahraini health minister Dr Faisal al-Hamar opened here yesterday the 10th international Middle East-African conference on ophthalmology.
The inaugural session of the 6-day conference was attended by Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmad bin Abdulaziz, the Chairman of the board of directors of the Middle East-African council of ophthalmology.
The conference is attended by more than 1800 ophthalmologists and experts from the various parts of the conference.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr al-Hamar highlighted the significant role played by Prince Abdulaziz bin Ahmad in combating blindness.
