JCCI sets up fund to support the needy

The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry has launched a SR50 million fund to support needy people in the governorate.
The JCCI announced the establishment of the fund on Monday following a meeting which was attended by JCCI Chairman Muhammad Al-Fadl, Secretary-General of the Islamic Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture Saleh Kamel and the head of the Jeddah Council for Social Responsibility, Ulfat Qabbani.
The fund will begin operating this year, Qabbani told the Jeddah-based Arab News.
