New committee for heritage

The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) has announced the establishment of a consultation committee for investing in heritage.
The committee functions under the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) and is chaired by Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, the Commission's President.
JCCI Chairman Sheikh Saleh Kamel will participate in the committee.
JCCI has taken the initiative to launch a SR50 million fund for the preservation of the urban heritage to be headquartered in Jeddah.
