The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry is planning a specialized course for the employment of Saudi girls in the 56 factories in Jeddah. A meeting on Thursday between Ulfat Qabbani, JCCI board member and chairman of the Board for the Social Affairs, Sameer Murad, Director of the committee for industries in JCCI and members of the committee Saud Al-Tayyar and Fawazi Al- Nahdi discussed ways to empower women wishing to work in factories to obtain a decent job compatible with their qualifications. This is the first time they decided to give a chance to women potential and help them to participate actively in the comprehensive development plans of the country. “The field of medicine, perfume and food are best suited to the nature of women,” said Ulfat Qabani.
