15th Conference of Arab Parliamentary Union opened in Muscat

The 15th Conference of Arab Parliamentary Union was opened here today. Several Arab parliaments took part in the conference.
The Saudi delegation to the two-day conference was led by Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, the Chairman of Shoura Council.
In an opening speech, the Chairman of Omani Shoura Council Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Esayi stressed the need for concerted Arab efforts to face challenges witnessed by the Arab world.
On behalf of the conferees, Al-Esayi strongly condemned the Israeli aggression on Gaza, appealing to all human right institutions to prosecute the perpetrators.
