Under the patronage of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; Prince Mishaal bin Majed bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah Governorate opened here last night the 3rd Engineering arbitration conference, organized by the Saudi Council of Engineers under the title "Arbitration engineering and its impact on national development "at Hilton Hotel. More than 500 engineers and experts are attending the conference, which is targeting more than 24,000 Saudis and resident engineers in various government and private sectors. The conference comes within the framework of the SCE interest in the field of engineering arbitration, development of this facility and the performance of arbitrators, and their accreditation in line with developments in the Kingdom and engineering labor market, where an estimated number of cases referred to the SCE accounted for 51 while the number of arbitrators totaled 277. In his speech to the conference, Dr Abdulrahman Al Rabeeah stated that the Council participates in the arbitration cases and the dispute between engineering firms and private actors in cooperation with the relevant courts or judicial authorities in the Kingdom, pointing out that the Council has its own arbitration committee with the engineering experts and specialists on the domestic and international level which have contributed to the solution of many engineering issues. --MORE
