An official source told the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that according to an invitation received by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in Cairo International Conference to be hosted by Egypt on March 2, 2009, to support the Palestinian economy to reconstruct Gaza, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announces its participation in this conference by a delegation led by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The delegation includes Finance Minister Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Assaf and Vice-President of Saudi Fund for Development, the Managing Director, Eng. Yousef bin Ibrahim Al-Bassam.
The source pointed out that the Kingdom's participation in the Conference is an extension of the continued support given by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian people.
