The National Family Safety Program (NFSP) was created to establish a foundation to generate awareness and ensure safe community living that protects and defends individuals' rights and helps the victims of domestic violence. The program fights against domestic violence and defends the rights of individuals who are victims of this type of violence through comprehensive awareness, partnership and solidarity at the official and public levels and at the same time creates programs to care for the victims of this violence. The National Family Safety Program (NFSP) was established under a Royal Decree (No. 11471/MB) issued on 16th of Shawal 1426 AH, corresponding to November 18th, 2005, as a national program that receive financial support from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and is administratively linked to the National Guard Health Affairs. NFSP is headed by Princess Seetah Bint Abdul Aziz. Dr. Maha Al-Muneef is the Executive Director of the program. --MORE
