based Al-Nadwa commenting on the meeting of the GCC Foreign and Finance Ministers held in Riyadh yesterday, said the Iranian statements about Bahrain and efforts for re-constructing Gaza were the major topics of the meeting. "In view of the fact that the gulf states are the countries which generously donate for the reconstruction of Gaza, the decision of establishing a program for the reconstruction of Gaza was an acknowledged fruit of the meeting". The paper noted that the program will be open for all Arab countries to join it, and there will be a mechanism for carrying out the program. "However, the GCC ministers have sent a message to Iran to refrain from such statements and refute its false claims. They also made it absolutely clear to Iran that such allegations will widen the gap between the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council and Iran". The ministers also noted that Bahrain is a member of the UN, the Arab League and the GCC and expressed optimism that Iran would not repeat such irrational, irresponsible and provocative statements which will not harm Bahrain, but only generate an adverse impact on the Iranian-gulf relations. --MORE
