Director general of Arab Bureau for Education in the Gulf States (ABEGS) has reiterated that ABEGS will go ahead on the path of developing the educational syllabuses in cooperation with the GCC member states and secretariat general in line with the document of opinions approved by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. Addressing a joint press conference along with director general of al-Mara'ei company Eng Abdulrahman al-Fadhli here today, Dr al-Karni said allocation of ABEGS' award for outstanding students will positively contribute to the promotion of performance. He noted that the contribution of al-Marie's company to supporting such a trend embodies the effective partnership between the government and private sectors. Dr al-Karni said the awarding prize ceremony for the outstanding students will be held in Kuwait on Sunday under the patronage of the Kuwaiti education and higher education minister Nooriyah al-Subeih. He noted that six students from each member state will be honored. Meanwhile, Dr al-Karni pointed out that ABEGS has signed a contract with an international company for the development of subjects of sciences and mathematics as well as finding advanced programs for the service of the students and teachers and enabling them to benefit from technology in the school syllabuses and promotion of their skills.
