Prince Dr Mansour bin Metib bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs, opened here today a workshop on planning for operation of jamrat bridge for Hajj season of 1430 in a proper and safe manner. The workshop is organized by the administration of projects and development at the ministry of municipal and rural affairs. Speaking on the occasion , Prince Mansour said with the grace of Allah Almighty the pilgrims can perform their ritual at the jamrat zone comfortably and easily without major incidents. He noted that the project of the train at the Holy Places, due to be implemented by a Chinese company, will positively contribute to easing crowdedness at the Holy Places. God willing, after two years the problem of staying of pilgrims in vehicles for a long time will be solved, he said. The participants of the workshop reviewed a number of working papers on the success of the pilgrimage season of 1429 as well as a paper on the arrangements of the administration of the civil defense for facing dangers at the jamrat zone and other related topics.
