King calls for "Istisqa" (Rain-seeking) Prayers

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz has called for performing Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayers throughout the Kingdom on Wednesday, Feb 18, 2009.
Prophet Mohammed (Peace Be Upon Him), urged the Muslims to perform 'Istisqa' prayers at the time of drought and delay in rainfall.
Meanwhile, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed al-Saud, the Education Minister, has issued a directive to the administrations of boys education in various regions of the country to carry out the Royal directives.
