King calls for rain-seeking prayers

King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, has called for performing Istisqa (rain-seeking) prayers throughout the Kingdom on Wednesday. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exhorted Muslims to perform Istisqa prayers at the time of drought and delay in rainfall. In line with the directives of the King, Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah Bin Muhammad, Education Minister, has issued orders that Istisqa prayers should be performed in all schools and universities.
