The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah represented by Dr. Peter Salima, Director of Asia and Pacific Branch (Department of Technical Cooperation), for the good efforts exerted by the University in the organization of the International Symposium of Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Technology in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, which was held at the University on 5-7/11/1429H, under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Symposium was characterized by the fine preparation and organization which contributed to the achievement of its objectives.
