Prime Minister of the Pakistani Part of Kashmir Sirdar Yakub Khan opened today in Muzafarabad a medical clinic funded by the Saudi Relief Campaign. The campaign, which was organized to provide aid and support to the residents of the 2005 earthquake hit areas, has helped with the reconstruction work and rehabilitation in the region. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Campaign Regional Director Dr. Khalid Al Othamni said that the campaign has funded the construction of 5 other medical clinics and centers in cooperation with UNICEF. The campaign has also finished working on a number of other reconstruction projects including the rebuilding of more than 4000 houses in Blakut City as well as schools and other crucial facilities. UNICEF Representative in Kashmir said that the clinic will serve up to 100. 000 people in the devastated region.
